PEP Graduation Guests,
In preparation for next month’s graduation ceremony, here are five key things to keep in mind:
- Graduation will be held in the gym at the Estes Unit, located at 1100 FM 1807, Venus, TX 76084
- I am working on check-in times for families to help keep time spent standing in line to a minimum, but we’ve been given from 1-2p to check-in all family members, so your check-in time will be during that hour
- This will be the first PEP graduation for this new Estes Unit staff, so please pack your patience that day – similar to airport security, you’ll provide your ID (which you’ll get back at check-out), place all “extras” such as shoes and belts in a bin for inspection, walk through a metal detector, get wanded, etc.
- Leave your PURSE/CAMERA/CELL PHONE/SMART WATCH/WALLET/QUARTERS in the car – none of those are allowed to go in with you to graduation
- Yes, there is a dress code for this special event – next week’s update will be all about this topic, but mentally prepare yourselves to dress conservatively, as this is an all-male facility
