Estes Fall 2026 Graduation – What Can I Bring?

An important question families ask every graduation is, “Can I bring _____________ to graduation?”

Because it’s prison, that answer is probably no – but since there are stricter rules for a graduation event, here are some details:

WHAT YOU ARE ALLOWED TO BRING:

  1. Current, government-issued ID (required)
  2. Car keys

WHAT YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BRING:

  1. Money (cash and coins)
  2. Any internet-enabled anything (cell phone, smart watch, Meta AI glasses, etc.) – this is a FELONY, so let’s not mess with Texas!
  3. Balloons
  4. Gifts or cards
  5. Camera
  6. Wallet
  7. Purse
  8. Diaper bag
  9. Briefcase
  10. High-end or expensive-looking watch
  11. Pager
  12. Stamps
  13. Business cards
  14. Any tobacco products
  15. Firearms or weapons (those with a license to carry: firearm must be unloaded and double locked inside vehicle)
  16. Medication or medical device (unless pre-approved; may require a doctor’s note sent in advance)
  17. Anything else not pre-approved by PEP staff

If you have any questions, let’s clear those up before graduation day.

As always, thanks for your support!

Blessings,

Laura
