Dear PEP Graduation Guests,
Here are a few notes about Friday’s ceremony:
- The Estes Unit address is 1100 FM 1807 inVenus, TX – please eat lunch and use the facilities prior to your arrival.
- Remember to bring your most patient, positive self to check-in on Friday – the security staff is just doing their job. Also, please don’t stand in line more than 5 minutes before your assigned check-in time (see below).
- Parking info: guest parking is on the left-hand side of the Estes parking lot.
- Dress code matters, so if you don’t want to be sent out on a last-minute shopping spree, leave the flipflops and short skirts at home and dress in a way that covers your body:
- Men: no shorts or muscle shirts; also no shirts with advertising on them, please.
- Ladies: the Estes Unit is an all-male prison, and since men are enticed by pretty ladies,please do NOT wear revealing clothing – this is for your loved one’s sake! If you wear something that shows too much leg or cleavage, you may be given a large, unattractive smock you’ll have to wear throughout the event (including pictures). Please don’t make that choice.
- EVERYONE: if you’d prefer to wear a face mask, you may – please bring your own mask if that’s what you decide is best for you and your health.
