We are learning Microsoft Office programs such as
Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. This class is a blessing. Many of us did not know
anything about computers or their programs before we took this class.

We will continue to have Toastmasters every Monday. This is
a new challenge for most of us because of the fear of speaking in public.
Toastmasters is one of many tools that PEP is providing us. These tools will
help us become authentic businessmen.

We are PEP, and we live by our 10 Driving Values. We will
lead with a Servant-Leader mentality, for we are united by brotherly love. If
one falls, we will pick him back up. It is inspiring to see these men who are about to go
home and still applying PEP’s 10 Driving Values to their lives.

Our numbers grow smaller by the day, and there is a bond
forming between brothers. It is the kind of bond that comes from having gone
through the fire together, and our brotherhood is becoming stronger week by
week. Last week, we leaned on each other in preparation for our Venture Capital
Panel event. This week, you can find us in small groups discussing word problems
as we learn about the Economics of One Unit.

Many of those in the next class arrived this week, and all
eyes are on the Conquerors of Spring ’19. A lot of us have stepped into
leadership roles in our dorms, and still others have admirably volunteered to
share their knowledge and experience as Servant-Leaders for the Fall ’19 Leadership
Academy class.

John
G. This class provides insights about financial
literacy.

Fall ’19 was called to the PEP room for a big PEP welcome.
This welcome included a “heart check,” which consisted of writing the whole PEP
study guide in four days.
