The morale was high and everyone seemed to be in good spirits. Talk of the “icebreaker speech” was the main topic on everyone’s minds and was discussed by many in the dorms.

Most of the PEP brothers are focused on studying for this week’s test, while others are completing homework assigned for our business plan completion. Servant-Leaders are in full swing, providing much-needed help to all the Soldiers of Spring ‘18. Learning from the graduates helps current participants advance quickly.

As the day progressed, Toastmasters became a reality. Heartfelt speeches of major events and experiences flowed from the speakers. Many individuals executed the difficult task well. We ended the day with a sense of accomplishment and prepared ourselves for the next set of challenges.

Cason M. Days like these can be exhausting. With the various assignments along with new ones given weekly on top of the long hours spent in the classroom, current class brothers seemed to feel slightly overwhelmed, and possibly discouraged at times. But when guest speakers like Bryan K. come, it helps to lift up our spirits. We would like to give a special thanks to Bryan K. for helping us see how blessed we are to be a part of something so special!

Harry B. This man is a business powerhouse, and we certainly looked up to him as we continued our journey through this program. Today, we discussed Mission Statements and Strategy in Chapter 5 of our entrepreneurship curriculum. It is fitting to discuss such things, for Soldiers strategize about missions all day, just like our primary mission to conquer Phase Two and move on to graduation day. It was absolutely an experience that all of my brothers enjoyed. After hearing him speak with such fire and enthusiasm, we left the classroom feeling good and ready for what tomorrow has to offer. There was a lot of encouraging, inspiring and tear-jerker sentiments shared with our brothers. Thank you Soldiers of Spring ‘18 for amazing spirit and dedication.
