Dear PEP Families,
Let me tell you some of the GREAT things that are happening at the Oliver Bell Unit in Cleveland, TX:
- In the spirit of innovation, our In-Prison Team has mobilized to ensure that this class will still be able to complete the Prison Entrepreneurship Program!
- In the spirit of goodwill and cooperation, the Warden approached us to ask if he could help teach class!
- In the spirit of hope, we are working on ways to keep lines of communication open (more on this next week)!
- And in the Spirit of the Living God, we know that none of this has caught the Almighty by surprise – so we continue to seek Him, because God is bigger than COVID-19!
To keep the men safe, guests will not be able to attend graduation on April 24th. But they will still graduate!
However, these men need YOUR support! Please consider sending notes of encouragement – this can be done by sending a one-way email through JPay (https://www.jpay.com/PEmessages.aspx) OR writing a “snail-mail” letter (remember the new TDCJ rules: no cards/stationery accepted; letters must be written on plain white paper in either blue or black ink).
