Dear PEP families,

Graduation is just around the corner … can you believe it??? We have a lot to cover, so please read everything about what to expect on Friday, July 1 at 4p via Zoom

  1. Keep in mind that all screens will be monitored – this means that all family members’ devices must have their cameras on throughout the ceremony
  2. As a reminder, you may have an entire watch party on your side of the screen, but ONLY UP TO TWO DEVICES may join per graduate
  3. Due to the sensitive nature of some men’s crimes, absolutely no pictures or video may be taken by any guests(*PEP will need to submit video of this virtual event for official review*)
  4. Please join the Zoom call using this Zoom link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84907973586 – in case you need it, here is the Meeting ID: 898 0156 4176

We have TWO exciting opportunities

#1: Guests are encouraged to make a support poster, take a picture of it and email it to me (lstiehl@pep.org) – pictures of these posters will be shared with the class!

Keep in mind, these posters (or signs) are meant to encourage/congratulate/cheer on your graduate, so …

  1. Make your poster big enough for him to see easily
  2. Put his name & your name on the poster
  3. Make the poster creative!

Each graduate can have up to four support posters, and you may add one family photo to your poster if you would like. Deadline to submit poster pictures is Monday, June 27t. Below are a few examples of what you can do – but again, be creative!

#2: If you stick around after the ceremony is over, you’ll have the chance to say a quick 10-second message to your graduate! Here’s an example: “Michael, I just watched you graduate and I’m so proud of all you’ve accomplished these past few months in PEP! Congratulations – I love you to the moon and back!” Think about it, practice it a time or two (especially if you have multiple people watching with you on the same device), and HAVE FUN!

The guys are SO EXCITED – thank you for your support!

Blessings,

Laura
